Welcome from the Principal

Dear families,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to SEK-Les Alpes.
We know what families expect from and value in their children's education. Which is why, at SEK International School Les Alpes, day after day we strive to offer the members of our Educational Community, students and staff, a setting where they can endeavour to reach new and higher levels of academic and personal achievement.

At SEK-Les Alpes, the natural setting and the social environment combine to contextualise much of our students' learning. We are also working towards becoming a Healthy School where the physical, psychological and social well-being of each of the members of our learning community is of paramount importance. As part of this process, we have become an international ski school, as part of the International Sport Academy scheme, offering high-performance student athletes a programme of academic excellence.

Our responsibility as a School is to prepare our students to be people ready to tackle the demands of the 21st century. We would like to assure families that each of us is personally committed to this learning experience, in which we welcome students to make the most of the opportunities afforded them in order to ensure they live a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience at school. Because they are the ones who are required to tackle this new challenge as individuals.

Our objective is to ensure that our students are able to continue to learn over the course of their lives, wherever they are and whatever their circumstances, and that they are prepared to realise their full academic and personal potential.

On behalf of all the professionals at SEK-Les Alpes, I thank you, welcome you again, and encourage you to find out even more about our educational project in the assurance that it will help you choose the best education for your children.
